FitTrend talks with supported services using their public API. However, most services limit the number of requests that FitTrend can make in a set period of time. This period can vary from requests per minute to per hour or day. Each service decides the limit and timeframe, which helps control the workload of their server. Therefore, FitTrend will queue import requests for multiple days of data at once.

FitTrend has the intelligence to control the number of requests our users make to the services enabled in their accounts. When FitTrend is about to hit that limit, the import pauses.

Fitrend will queue import requests to manage data requests to 3rd party services.

When FitTrend processes queue import requests, FitTrend adds any new data from the enabled services to the user’s journal. Therefore, new entries may take a few moments before they appear in the journal. However, if you do not see new data from your enabled services in your journal after several minutes, please get in touch with us.
