FitTrend is excited to support Wahoo! #

Wahoo® is building the better athlete in all of us. Founded in 2009 by Chip Hawkins in Atlanta, GA, Wahoo creates innovative solutions to make hard-fought goals attainable and improve lives. Wahoo was built on the foundation of simplicity and the mindset that “there’s got to be a better way.” Enabling Wahoo support will import your data from Wahoo devices into your FitTrend Journal.

Wahoo Benefits #

When Wahoo support is active, it enhances your experience by showing your Wahoo and FitTrend data together. Here is a list of the kinds of Wahoo data that you will see in FitTrend:

  • Active time
  • Activities and workouts
  • Cadence
  • Calories burned
  • Elevation gained
  • Heart Rate
  • Kilojoules generated
  • Normalized Power (NP)
  • Speed
  • Time paused during workouts
  • Total Time
  • Training Stress Score (TSS)
  • Watts generated
  • Charts to trend your FitTrend and Wahoo data

However, your Wahoo device may not support all the possible data types that newer devices support. If you do not see specific data types mentioned in FitTrend, your Wahoo device may not support it.

How FitTrend Imports Wahoo Data #

FitTrend talks to Wahoo using its publicly available API. However, FitTrend cannot import your data without you granting us permission. Once granted, FitTrend will import your data automatically.

However, there is a limit to how much FitTrend can talk to the Wahoo servers per minute and per hour. Therefore, FitTrend will import your data and notify you if we near the limit. This is temporary, and data will resume shortly.

Enabling Wahoo Support #

Use the FitTrend Connect Manager to enable Wahoo support.
