FitTrend gives you complete control over who can connect and interact with you. If you choose to go it alone, you can hide your profile in the privacy control settings. However, FitTrend has many social features to keep in touch and encourage friends. When you connect with friends, you can send them messages, track their progress, participate in group leaderboards, and more!
Finding Friends #
You can connect with friends by clicking or tapping Find Friends from the options menu. Minimally, searches have to be at least three characters. Only accounts with their privacy control settings set to include themselves will show up in the search results. Additionally, blocked accounts will not show up in your search results regardless of their privacy control settings.
An Activity Feed Of Your Social Circle #
The Activity Feed is where you see your friends’ latest activities. Only activities that your friends share will show up in the feed. You can either set the share level when you add or edit an activity or set the default setting for new activities in your privacy control settings.
You can access your activity feed by clicking or tapping the Me menu, then the Activity Feed option. The activity feed will show all activities in chronological order from newest to oldest. Clicking or tapping the thumbs up will give your friend an accolade, and clicking or tapping on any activity will show you the details of that activity.
When viewing a friend’s activity, options are available to give accolades or send a message.
Leaderboards #
Leaderboards are a great way for you and your friends to compare your efforts in a rank-based format. You can create leaderboards from a variety of options and even save them for reference later.
