What is FitTrend?

FitTrend is a 100% web-based runners journal. Its goal is to provide runners of all abilities a means to easily add workouts into a flexible system. When workouts are added over time, FitTrend can generate comprehensive reports by analyzing a runner's log. FitTrend is designed and engineered by runners for runners.

How do I use FitTrend?

FitTrend is easy to use. You do need to download and install any special software on your PC. All you need is a web browser. Currently FItTrend supports Microsoft (R) Internet Explorer 6.0+, Mozilla 1.6+, and Firefox 1.0+

To begin using FitTrend, simply needs to create an account by clicking here. After completing the form, you will receive an email with instructions on how to login.

How much does FitTrend cost?

FitTrend is free! Once an account has been created, you can begin to use FitTrend. The advance reporting and additional features are based on several awarding winning books written by world renown runners and doctors who specialize in running related medicine and research. A summary of FitTrend features:

  • Track daily runs - Each workout allows you to specify where you ran, type of run, distance, finish time, goal time, weight, shoe, weather conditions, running and rest heart rate, calories, and detailed notes.
  • Track racing results - In addition to your daily run data, you will be able to store the official race distance, your overall finish, total racers, your age group finish, total racers in age group, race number, entry fee, and any prize money won or raised for charity.
  • Cross training activities - Choose from over 100 cross training activities and specify duration, weight, active and resting heart rate, auto-calculated or manually entered calories and workout notes.
  • Miscellaneous notations - Add notes based on events in your life that are not related to a run.
  • Manage a training plan - Build a training plan and specify a goal such as time, distance, pace, or cross training activity. The training plan will change colors based on if you exceeded, met, or fell short of a goal.
  • Customize FitTrend to you - You can customize shoes, courses and running routes, and types of runs.
  • Track upcoming events - Using FitTrend you can schedule any type of upcoming event such as your favorite race or a non-running event.
  • Create dozens of reports - Using FitTrend's Reporting Engine, you can generate and save reports based on any combination of data from your runs, races and activities.
  • Coach Logins - You can enable a feature to allow your coach or mentor to login and review your runs. Coaches can also add notes to your log for your reference.
  • It's Free - Anyone can utilize all the above functions of FitTrend for free.
