To access your plan, simply click the My Plan Tab from the navigation tabs. The navigation tabs allow you to quickly access the major features of FitTrend.
The purpose of the My Plan Tab is to provide you with the following features:

When you first visit the My Plan Tab, the current month is displayed. At any time you can select a different month by using the month and year navigation section located in the upper left hand corner.

You can view any month of the current year by clicking the desired month. If you wish to view a different year, simply click on the arrows to the left (to go back a year) and right (to go forward a year) of the year. Once you have selected the desired year, clicking a month will display the plan calendar for that month. The Plan Calendar provides you with a summary of your daily runs, races, activities, and off days.

The summary window will indicate the total time (T), distance (D), average pace (P), and activity (A) of all runs, races, and activities for a specific day. The status color (explained below) also indicates what you chose as a goal. If a goal was set based on distance, then the (D) would change colors to represent the appropriate color code.
The color code represents whether you accomplished your goal, exceeded your goal, missed your goal, or did not set a goal. Below is a table that shows you the various color codes that are used.
![]() |
A summary with a gray status indicated that you have not set a goal for a specific day. |

A summary with a blue status indicated that you have set a goal for a specific day, but have not logged a run, race, or activity. |

A summary with a red status indicated that you missed the goal set for a specific day. |

A summary with a green status indicated that you have met the goal set for a specific day. |

A summary with a yellow status indicated that you have exceeded the goal set for a specific day. |
The third major area of your Plan is the Statistical Summary. Like the Journal Tab, this section provides you with an overview of your runs, races, and cross training activities. At a quick glance, you can determine how much time, calories, average pace and distance for the selected month. The percentages and averages provided here are based on all days in the selected month. For example: If you ran 5 days a week in May 2004, the daily averages and percentages will be based on 31 days (the total number of days for that month).

The Statistical Summary will automatically update as you add runs, races, and cross training activities to the current month from the Journal Tab. Additionally, it will automatically calculate the monthly summary for any month selected from the Journal Calendar.
Now that you have a firm understanding of the My Plan Tab and how it organizes your goals, we can move into how to add, remove, and change a specific goal. To add a goal, simply click the Set Goal hyperlink for the day that you want to manage a goal. Once clicked, a window will appear that allows you to specify the goal for the selected day.

By default, goals are set to distance. However, you can change whether your goal will be based on Time, Distance, Pace, or a Cross Training activity. You can selected your goal by clicking the appropriate radio button. Once you have selected your goal, then you can provide the appropriate information for that goal. If you are satisfied with your goal, you can click the Save button. The next time you click the My Plan Tab, you will see that goal parameters have changed for that given day.
You can edit and delete set goals by clicking the Set Goal hyperlink for a given day. A window will pop-up to show you the current goal set. You can delete or update your goal by clicking the Delete Button or Update Button. Any goal deleted can not be restored unless you manually recreate the goal.
As you add runs, races, and activities to your Journal, your goal's color code and summary will be updated automatically.
